Our Favorite Literature: Win a Gift Basket

This giveaway is closed. Congratulations to Tracy P. in Ohio!

Every year around this time, the bloggers of iHomeschool Network come together to bless other homeschoolers by hosting a massive gift basket giveaway. Each blogger creates her own basket and gives it away on her own blog. This year we have a whopping 28 participants! Be sure to visit them all! Since each blogger is conducting her own giveaway, you never know…you may end up winning more than one!

My gift basket this year is full of my family’s favorite literature sets, along with a special book written by a friend. The photo above shows my well-loved and worn copies, but yours will come straight to you from Amazon.

This basket is valued at $120 and includes:

Only picking one is tough & it changes so often, but I would say our favorite book is the Penderwicks. This year I am excited to introduce my kids to A Wrinkle in Time.

  2. Tracy Criswell

Our family’s favorite book series is actually a tie between the Harry Potter and Narnia series. We love reading them, but we haven’t finished them yet. We are interested in reading the Hobbit and I am interested also in the Give Your Child the World book.

  3. Lisa W

Please don’t make me choose a favorite! We are HUGE Tolkien fans here, so I if I have to choose I’d say The Hobbit. 🙂 Although The Phantom Tollbooth is high on the list as well.

  4. Amber Oliver

We love these, too! Well,.. we all love Narnia. My 14 year old daughter JUST got into Harry Potter, and my 11 year old son just started reading The Hobbit. =) I guess we are now officially a geeky family, too.. 😉

I love the collection you’re giving away. I’m sure my kids will love having these. We love the Narnia books and LOTR books as well as The Great Brain series and Three Investigators Mysteries.

  6. Carol Tieman

There are far too many good books out there, appropriate for different ages, of course. Since I’m back to teaching a little one, I would say The Chronicles of Narnia. And it’s not just because it’s in the basket!
