Sparking a love of learning can be difficult. Not all of us love math. Many people loath science. Others don’t see the relevance of learning about history. As parents and teachers, how can we help kids cultivate a love of learning? Sometimes all it takes is the right book, movie, or TV show. That little spark of interest can develop into a full-blown obsession and before you know it, you are considered a member of a “fandom”. The love of a fandom usually lasts a lifetime and this love can open up an immense world of learning opportunities.

How to Save Money on LEGO

I am sure every mom, dad, grandparent, aunt or uncle of a LEGO-loving child is constantly on the hunt for ways to save money on LEGO. Two years ago, out of curiosity, I tallied up how much money we have spent on LEGO products since my son turned 5 and was bit with the LEGO bug. This includes sets, minifigures, pieces, books, and games. The amount was so insane that I won’t dare share it.

Over the years, I’ve learned quite a few ways to save a ton of money while adding incredible sets, pieces and minifigures to my son’s collection.
